Hi everyone, I realise no announcment has been made here, so for my club I am happy to invite anyone who is intrested to come along. (only 4 weeks left till the event).

The Vanguard will be running our annual Mid-Winter Gathering/Combat event this year on the 8th -10th of June (Queens Birthday long weekend) 2013. The event is easily accessible from the freeway on the NSW Central Coast (between Sydney and Newcastle), affordable and includes an ever expanding range of historical activities, feasting, combat and all kinds of merry making. Although the event participants will predominently participants in the past have been prodominently dark age to late medieval, anything from ancient to 1800's are most welcome.

This year we are continuing with the two tier price system (full catered and self-catered) to cater to the individual needs of re-enactors.

Adult full catered: $90 (after June 1st price will increase by 50%)

Ages 13 to 16 full catered $50 (before June 1st)

Self-catered: $20 (same self-catered price for adults and 13-16)

Hi Chris

I Look forward to coming along again. Should hopefully have a few more members from Danelaw in tow as well.

Cheers

Kirk
The encampment looked amazing. Great work to those involved.
I am sincerely sorry that we missed it, unfortunately 'life' stuff got in our way and was unavoidable. I'm sure the weekend was a blast.
We at MCC are looking forward to next year and determined to make the event.

It was the best yet. We lucked it with the weather and the Van members did their bit to make it a memorable event for everyone.

I think we succeeded in making it very immersive and the site is the best it has ever looked.

We also had the most diverse club attendance since we began running the event, it was great to see so many new faces along with the seasoned regulars.
