Just a few words about the club I am a member of. It is officially called Vanguard Re-enactment Guild Inc but many just call it "Vanguard" and some call it simply "The Van".
The club is located at Wyee (Half way between Gosford and Newcastle) and collectively we have built a small hamlet where we have training and run events.
Our members come from far and wide. We have members travel from Thirlmere, Campbeltown and Taree. The bulk of our members are from the Central Coast and lower Hunter Valley.
Our focus is combat through the ages but we don't limit ourselves to the warrior lifestyle. We are therefore a multi-period club and encourage members to actively persue more than one facet from history.
